SZLEJUN Mobile Credit Card Readers Editorial Review
The CAC Reader USB A/USB Type-C has garnered mixed reviews from users who have tested it across various platforms. Many users appreciate its dual USB connector design, allowing for easy compatibility with both older and newer devices. In terms of performance, the card reader has demonstrated reliability with EMV smart cards and Common Access Cards (CAC), providing seamless access and real-time PIN entry for some users. However, it appears that the reader's performance can vary significantly, as several reviews indicate it can be inConsistent, especially when handling different card types like PIV. Some customers found it worked flawlessly right out of the box while others experienced issues such as an inability to maintain a connection or read their cards reliably. Despite the initial promise demonstrated during usage, several users reported serious functionality problems after a short period, leading to frustrations. The compact size and solid build of the reader are frequently praised, making it a suitable option for travel and everyday use. However, it seems that potential buyers, particularly those needing a reader for government-related applications or requiring frequent use, may want to carefully Consider their needs before purchasing. Overall, the CAC Reader offers good versatility and ease of use for varied smart card applications but may not be the most reliable option for critical or heavy usage scenarios. **
