- The Satechi USB4 NVMe SSD Enclosure for Mac Mini M4 provides fast and flexible external storage for compatible devices. It supports USB4 data transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps. With a compatible SSD and host device, read speeds can reach up to 3840 MB/s and write speeds can reach up to 3200 MB/s. Performance may vary based on the SSD, host device, and other hardware. The enclosure supports storage capacities up to 8TB and works with M.2 NVMe SSD sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. This provides space for backups, photo libraries, video projects, documents, and games. The enclosure does not include an SSD. Built-in cooling vents and a thermal pad help manage heat during use. The enclosure is compatible with Mac Mini M4, MacBook, iPad, PC, and other compatible devices. It supports Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB4 host devices. No additional drivers or external power are required. The slim aluminum design is lightweight and easy to carry. A built-in cable compartment keeps the braided USB-C cable stored when not in use. The enclosure has a 16mm profile that complements the compact design of the M4 Mac Mini. The package includes a 15cm USB-C cable, mounting screw, screwdriver, thermal pad, and user manual. The product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
