Their characters are also strangely sleepwalking. They may dance in the streets, flirt, or harm themselves-though they slip through their own lives passively, almost lazily, seemingly accepting things as they are, not questioning anything. They observe themselves and detect their reactions and emotions, but it is obvious that they cannot explain them.
