- Mevlânâ Celaleddin Rumî (1207-1273): Yapıtlarının bütünü düşünüldüğünde yalnız 13. yüzyılın en büyük tasavvuf şairlerinden biri değil, dünya şiirinin de en önemli adlarındandır. T. İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları, içinde bulunduğumuz 2007 yılında, doğumunun 800. yılı UNESCO'nun girişimiyle bütün dünyada Mevlânâ Yılı olarak kutlanacak şairin 107 rubaisini Hasan Âli Yücel'in çevirileriyle kendi dizisinde okura sunuyor. Hasan Âli Yücel (1897- 1961); Klasikler'den Köy Enstitüleri'ne,1938 sonundan 1946 Ağustosu'na dek süren Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı döneminde kurduklarıyla Cumhuriyet Aydınlanması'nın en önemli ve kalıcı orkestra şefiydi. Telif ve çevirileriyle de son derece nitelikli bir kültür insanı olan Yücel'in Mevlânâ çevirileri, şairin 800. doğum yılına denk gelen 110. doğum yılında yeniden okurla buluşuyor.
